  1. Thank you, for the valuable information Undrea it seems that dispite all the interested place on early education, there are still many programs such as Head Start that are being affected. It is sad to see that Ealy Education has been the target for many years, children, families as well as professionals in the field are suffering the consequences.

  2. Undrea thanks for the information on Head Start. I am glad that the U.S. Senate rejected HN1. It is sad to think that so many children and Head Start teachers would have been eliminated from the program. Maybe we need to send 4yr old Billy and 6yr old Joy to congress and see if they could do a better job in keeping funds for their peers because I guess our congress representative have forgotten about the children.

  3. Undrea,

I am also glad that bill was rejected! Maybe it was rejected because they feared all the Early Childhood Educators who would show up on Capitol Hill = ) I still do not understand why we should cut education funding when there are plenty of other areas that we could cut, and there would not be any long term damage.

  4. Undrea,
I enjoyed reading your post. I think that I am going to start visiting the NHSA website just to keep abreast of the up-to-date Head Start information.

I am so glad that the Bill was rejected. It always seems as though when there is a possibility of budget cuts that education in some way feels the effects.
